An Instant Messaging client.... and make one that sits at the same level as the Blackberry Messenger..... were you can send not only text but also pictures, videos, voice recording and even files.....Of course make it a background running always on application. Integration with other IM services would be a killer, Live Messenger, Yahoo, AOL IM.....

the calendar that does syncs with gmail w/o .me purchase. Talk to google they did it for the blackberry no problem.

Give the iPhone the ability to sync Notes with Mac computers. Also have ability to Sync notes between iPhone and Mac using MobileMe push.

Use the designated default email account also the default "from address" for all outgoing emails from the iPhone including replies.

Please fix the background e-mail checking and push functions! It's broken in 2.1! I always have to unlock my iPhone to know when I get an e-mail now...

As a Google Toolbar/Bookmarks user, I would like to be able to prefer the 1000 or so bookmarks I already have in my Google account as the sync option in MobileMe (ie. support multiple sources, even RSS, instead of just Safari)... so that I can continue to use a far superior bookmarking tool across multiple platforms and locations (work, home, mobile).
