Why can every other smartphone & flip phone text a photo besides the iPhone? C'mon! Emailing more than one photo at a time would be nice as well.

Let us see if we have new email waiting for us without unlocking the iPhone! For the love of god, show a "new mail" icon in the taskbar

Landscape typing in all applications that allow typing. When the iPhone is in landscape mode it's easier to hold with two hands and type with two thumbs.

Synchronize Notes on my iPhones with the ones in the Mail app on my Mac. That should have been there since Day 1!

Please add a search bar in the Mail App so that I can quickly find what I am looking for. Gmail allows me to do it on their webapp, why not in Apple Mail?

Add a To-Do app synchronized with the To-Dos in my Mac's Mail app.

MMS!!!!! You spend $500 on a phone the phone is amazing but it can't do something that cheap $20 phones can do send PICTURES!! It's the biggest downfall the iPhone has it's really not that hard they made it so you can email pictures why can't we text them or receive them??

No push email for GMail.

While the Auto-Complete is good, but it is hard to skip a recommendation since I almost always have a problem in hitting the 'x' and end up in a few irritating cycles of 'delete-word-retype-hit-x'. (Especially bites me when typing acronyms in text messaging.)

please make texting available in landscape mode. 3rd party vendors already make it available for mail so why cant Apple just make this happen?

Make the scroll bar on the right of the Safari screen (and other applications) interactive so I can use it to scroll up and down. Using the finger gesture on long sites or sections of texr can take forever.

Fix emails so they display properly regardless of format. When I'm viewing some messages, the font is so small I can't see, and when I double clcik on the message to try and zoom in, it won't, so I have to manually zoom in and then scroll forever to view. Also, some emails don't word wrap so I have to scroll to the right.

Please add an official to-do list application that synchronizes with iChat over MobileMe. We also need data detectors in Mail that would allow one to automatically create a reminder in To-Dos.

Fix interface sluggishness!

An Instant Messaging client.... and make one that sits at the same level as the Blackberry Messenger..... were you can send not only text but also pictures, videos, voice recording and even files.....Of course make it a background running always on application. Integration with other IM services would be a killer, Live Messenger, Yahoo, AOL IM.....
