iPod | Please fix the iPhone

I wish that I could listen to music via Bluetooth! Damn all these wires! If I can answer a call with Bluetooth, I should be able to listen to my IPod with Bluetooth!

1. Block certain phone numbers from calling you. 2. Option to record a phone call. 3. Tethering ( at least with limited bandwidth ) 4. Make Ipod on Iphone play internet radio streams ( or allow apps that do run in the background) 5. Finally release push notifications for IM apps and so that google could make a push-Gmail app!!!

Road Mode! When I drive I want to be able to see: 1. The name of the song etc. in a size I can actually read. 2. Buttons that are easy to find without taking my attention off the road in V&H. 3.Time (again, large enough to read) And I would love to see something fun that uses the accelerometer. Since Remote lets me control iTunes from my iPhone via local WiFi, why can't I also access & stream my entire iTunes library (music & video) FROM my Mac TO my iPhone over WiFi? Heck, why can't I do that from anywhere over any WiFi internet connection? In other words: my iPhone should be able to access/stream my home iTunes library from anywhere over WiFi, period.

Why is it that you can search your music library on other ipods but the ipod touch/iphone seem to lack this feature. I have over 4500 songs and the only way to find a song I want is to scroll through the songs, the artists, the albums, or the playlists? How can such a necessary feature be lacking on a device that has 8/16/ and 32 gb versions?

When listening to songs in shuffle mode, I often stumble across something I haven't heard for ages. It would be great to have a 'additional options' shortcut (like new nano) where I can browse artist/album and/or simply play only this artist/album.

It is insane that you cannot see the full Podcast name and description. Even on my old 5G video iPod, the longer name scrolls and the full description can be accessed. In the iPhone and Touch, you have tons more screen real estate but cannot see the entire name nor any of the longer description? Come on!

If the podcasts are going to play straight through without stopping, please reorder them so they play from oldest to newest. That way you can start with older podcasts and listen until you catch up.

I would like to be able to read the artist and song without a magnifying glass. Having the album art showing is flashy but I would prefer to have the song/artist/album information displayed in that space. This especially a problem while in the car.

It should not automatically not start playing another podcast once the current one finishes, especially an older podcast. The only exception to this would be for podcasts on playlists (which is the same as how it used to work). This is new in firmware 2.1.

Disable cover flow - a simple option in the settings to disable cover flow so I can set my ipod in landscape mode and still manage playlists, and select songs to play. (plus landscape mode would gives more space to display long title names on music and podcasts)

Make it easy to fast forward and rewind accurately. The "real" iPod is one of the most usable players ever, thanks to its click wheel. The iPhone requires you to either hold down an often-unresponsive virtual FF/RW button, barely more useful than the old cassette decks, or use the play head which has trouble skipping in anything less than 2 minute increments. There must be a better way.
