Why can't I add a shortcut on the desktop that will allow me to call my girlfriend with one tap? I hate having to fish her number out from the address book every time call her ! It'd be cool to have a mini photo-icon of her on the desktop!

Customisation - we should be able to customise the look of the DOCK and the BACKGROUND on the home screens. How about a way to "theme" the phone .. after all it's MY DAMN PHONE

I want to be able to end a call by pushing the button...not just the screen. It seems intuitive to hit the button to hang up and when you do - the call doesn't end - it stays open and the main screen pops up to block it. Not good.

Loop the home screens, so that one more (right-to-left) swipe on your last page, brings you back to page 1 again. Saving us from having to back-swipe multiple times to return.

The next iPhone should have a breathing home button when its put to sleep. But you should be able to choose how bright or be able to switch it on or off. Sweet.

It would be very necessary to have a direct option to enable / disable the WiFi and 3G. It is tedious to have to navigate through several menus to something that is used so often. Thank you

Make it much easier to return to the previous app. Eg. an email with a web link takes you into Safari. Fine. To get back to the email you have to click Home then Mail; and sometimes "returning" is more than two clicks away.
