Allow the Alarm in Clock.app to wake me up to an iPod/iTunes playlist. The 1st-gen iPod could do this.

I wish that when I set an alarm on my phone, it would not go off during phone calls annoying myself and the person on the other end of the line.

I want a lock on the ring and alarm volumes. I want to be able to set the ringer to full for those two things and then use the side volume adjuster for everything else (which I almost always want softer).

Serious business users need loud alarms to remind for meetings. The alarms should have the ability to keep repeating loudly until turned off. Right now we can't even customize the alarm sound. The alarms should also be able to be automatically set for all new calendar appointments.

Birthdays should have alarm reminders. It makes no sense to have to pull up a contact's info to find out that their Birthday was last week?! I can't always remember beforehand but my iPhone should!

Please add an option where you can choose to have your next 5 or so calendar events appear on the Unlock screen. Currently the Unlock screen has a big chunk of wasted space that could be used to help me keep my day in order. At the very least we need a number badge added to the Calendar app button to show you how many events you have that day.

I would like to use the iPhone as a normal alarmclock in the morning. Now you cannot turn your iPhone off at night, because the alarmclock won't go off. Every phone has that ability, why not iPhone?

I would like the ability to assign custom ring tone notifications for seperate email accounts or individual senders. I'd like to know the difference between my sister's email and my Boss's email without having to look at the phone each time it chirps.

Make a setting that will allow the alarm to still sound when the phone is set to mute. There have been a number of times when I forget to un-mute my phone and then the alarm wont sound... what a pisser!

Why can't the alarm work whether the phone is on or off? Currently, if the phone is off, the alarm will not come on in the morning.
