I want a button on the homescreen that allows me to quickly shut off Bluetooth, Wireless, or 3g. All of these are battery wasters, on a short life battery, and getting to each setting is a pain. And by the way... a larger capacity batter wouldn't hurt! Wish 2047

A location aware and schedulable power saving settings section where you can set which services (gps, 3g, wifi, etc.) are on or off based on both your physical location and a predetermined schedule. Also allow on/off setting for Calendar, to auto enable vibrate mode during specified meetings. Wish 1500

Road Mode! When I drive I want to be able to see: 1. The name of the song etc. in a size I can actually read. 2. I have a music transmitter that allows me listen to my iphone in my car. When I am listening music everything else works, check email, text message, etc. Why can I not talk on speaker phone while connected to the device, have the sound go through my speakers in my car. Wish 683

iPhone has same problems as lot of their competitors. Why not Apple join the Symbian, Android and Palm community and let developers work across to create multiple cross platform applications. offline emailing. I hate the fact that I can't trash messages or compose new messages without having a stupid alert come and interrupt me. This is using exchange email services, not live IMAP - there's no reason why a sync when you do go online shouldn't do everything you did while you were offline. Wish 1697

Please keep the GPS on in Airplane mode. GPS is only recieving so it can not interfere with the avionics. Allow it to fix position on a cached map. Wish 4823

Airplane mode should be more configurable, or alternatively, separate on/off toggles (IN THE ONE AREA) for WiFi, Bluetooth, Phone, and GPS. My POP3 email is not dependable. Many are never fetched even though they are "new" in my webmail inbox. No error, just never gets them. I am using my webmail (thank goodness this phone has safari) for reliability, I am unable to rely on the iphone for POP3 mail. I never had this issue with Treo or Blackberry. Wish 4410

I wish the Home button could be set to turn Airplane Mode on and off. Sometimes it feels like too many steps to get back to the Home screen, enter Settings, and click on Airplane Mode. Wish 2396

Mac has so many capabilities that all of the users here Complained about. Why not make more portability available to phone same as the Operating System in the past 5 years. Majority of the complains here are relating to the functionality which MAC/Apple has solved in past 5 years. Make the developers work from OS team and Phone team. You should be able to access the wireless preferences by clicking on the wireless bars directly. I often find that I want to turn off/disconnect from the wireless network I am on. It is far less cumbersome to go directly to the preference pane. Wish 6042

Allow apps, like the NYTimes, to sync and download their data while the iPhone is syncing (like how AvantGo works on the Palm OS). Currently the NYTimes will "update" forever (i.e. until it crashes) and all the majority of articles will still not be downloaded. Unsupported accessories warnings Every time I plug my iPhone into my car charger with line out it displays the warning about it not being designed to work with the accessory and should the phone switch to airplane mode. This is a fair enough warning but why can’t I tell it to remember my answer for future use! Wish 7912

Can Apple please get rid of the following error: Airplane Mode: This accessory is not made to work with iPhone. Would you like to turn on this feature to reduce audio interference?
